The League of Independent Producers has introduced a dedicated membership programme to support the UK’s next generation of theatre producers.
The League’s Junior Members programme draws on the experience and expertise of its membership to provide mentoring, professional development and events for emerging and early-career producers. It comprises an initial 12 months’ free membership followed by a subsidised membership of £20 per annum for two further years to support those on the programme as they establish themselves in the industry.
Junior Membership is open to new independent producers of any age who are in the early stages of their career and are producing work in the UK. They do not need to be participating in any other programmes to qualify.
The programme has already provided Junior Members with one-to-one mentoring from established, experienced producers as well as opportunities to attend in-person networking events and monthly online members meetings that feature leading industry figures as guest speakers.
